    Matt Ritchie has appeared as a sub in Newcastle’s last seven league games. There’s as much chance of me being our new right back than us signing him.

    That whole list looks a load of rubbish to me, just random names plucked from thin air.

    Exactly, if he was to leave Newcastle in January he’d be going to a top 6 Championship club at worst. Even at 34.

    Ipswich Town in talks to bring Fulham striker Jay Stansfield to Portman Road, in the
    January transfer window.
    Stansfield currently on-loan at Birmingham City, losing this player would be a big downer
    for Brum manager Wayne Rooney.
    Fulham have the option of bringing back Stansfield, not in their plans to use the player,
    so can go to another club.

    There are a few championship sides looking at Stansfield, but it seems Ipswich have got
    their foot in the door first.
