My Dad beat Dennis a few times when he was playing for the Clarence Hotel in Parkgate before he won his world title (Dennis that is not my Dad ).

Don't know if they still have the Home Internationals that were popular in the 70s/80s when the teams were made up of about 16-20 players from their respective countries. As a result there were opportunities for quite a few to get an England 'cap' and I played against some of them on the Northants darts circuit. I remember one, Less Dodd who used to play exhibitions throwing 6" nails and he beat most if not all comers.

    That was a cracking game.

The Littker lad is outstanding as well. Not just his talent but he is really calm and confident

Just watched Cross v Dobey. Simply sensational stuff.
Came from 4-0 down to win 5-4 and will face the winner of the next game, Dolan v Littler.

Dave Chisnall looks like Leam Richardson's fat younger brother.

Felt for Humphries at the end. He poured out his heart and is a worthy winner but the crowd and the tv wanted Littler.

    Glad Humphries won.
He’s a talent at 16 but people call him a role model.
    Really ??
Why ? The world’s gone mad.
I wouldn’t be telling my kids at 16 to smoke e cigs and have a diet of kebabs.
He could do with going gym. 😊😊
