Yeah most were average over 90 min
Thought Baldwin was MoM. Always tidying up & available at the back. Bostock wasn't his normal self yesterday, clumsy challenge in the box. Brindley good for a safe pass, is too easily out muscled & jumped for a big lad.
Goldie missed a great chance to put us up 3-1 with the back heel

Does anyone else think Bostock may be carrying a injury, he has a few mistakes in him the last few weeks, not played many full 90min.🤔

My thoughts as well, although looked more of the player we know in the 2 home games over Xmas. Could be we had to bring him back quicker than normal due again to squad size

More likely because he had to do the work of palmer on top of what he does as we have essentially scrapped his position and added another attacking mid, should be fine next game with someone to actually help him

Yes Brindley mainly does goes for the safe pass back option, we need better.

Brindley is OK when he receives the ball in space but Baldwin has that annoying heads up change direction thing going when there isn't anything available, he then gives it to Brindley who is then on the verge of having a man on. Same tends to happen on the other side with Cameron. A fair percentage of heart in mouth play comes from dwelling too long before a pass is played. I have noticed that when it is blindingly obvious that the keeper is going to get the ball. The defence (normally Baldwin) hold the ball so long that the keeper is then under extreme pressure to clear the ball. I fully understand the "Drawing the oppostion" concept but we wait too long (at times).

Maybe he never will be. If he is not picked next match then that probably tells us what the management think.
I don't think they would leave it until the Stockport game.

Looking back at the goals, the efforts of Brindley and Cameron in particular were woeful. If we're going to accommodate a creative ball player like Baldwin at the back, the other two centre-halves have got to possess better defensive instincts and more aggression than Cameron and Brindley do. The three of them together, against the increased quality of opposition we now face, are as soft as grease, especially bearing in mind we haven't got defensively-gifted players in the wing-back positions either, or especially defensively-aware midfielders. We're a soft touch when we're not in possession, basically.

If we bring in the kind of player(s) we need, I don't see a future for Brindley.

Cameron I believe could make a good midfielder at this level, but even then he'll need to be switched on and concentrating defensively, which is a huge weakness for him at present. As a central defender he sees danger too late and panics too often (as a result).
