There does seem to be a correlation though between those that are self blowingly proud of being unafraid to speak their minds, and the quality of mind that is speaking out.

Gloriously Abbot-eque performance there from young Eni. Although in fairness to her, I don't think she's ever claimed to be a trumpeter of the great and free thinking!

I am sorry that is just dumb, if it isn't a simple mistake where she meant to say one goal every other game, which is probably the most likely.

I agree, it was a simple mistake from her, but the way she preceeded it with 'If you do the maths, that's...' it did come out quite funny.

Then there was Alex Scott’s little gem

"In a sense it’s a one-man show… except there are two men involved, John Hartson and Eyal Berkovic, and a third man, the goalkeeper."

    Sporting broadcast John Motson

“The Belgians will play like their fellow Scandinavians, Denmark and Sweden”

    – Andy Townsend

Jamie Carragher spat on a child and no one seems to mind.

Jamie O Hara is as thick a feck

Slightly different thing, but it’s how our brains have been programmed.i tuned in to watch match of the day on Saturday, and my first thought was notice the presenters Jermaine jenas, and pundits was sedum onouha and Ashley Williams…all I am saying is if we get told.things, hear things, about certain agendas all the time eventually you will start to think the opposite,..this is what Barton is probably doing now.

Just to put a modicum of balance to the Aluko gaff, she has a degree in Law and was awarded a first.
She has also admitted that Maths is not her strongest subject hence asking others to check her arithmetic

First class Law degrees are not handed out to anyone and has clearly demonstrated a very high level of intelligence in the past.
    TV nerves perhaps?

I think TV nerves and/or a simple saying "that's one every game" instead of "that's one every other game" is a much more likely explanation for the gaff than her not being very bright. I agree.
