    Obviously hoping for a win.
But nearly as important as that - I hope Collins gets the team back to playing fast football - playing football that Barnsley is renowned for - moving the ball quickly from defenders through midfield to the strikers.

I’ll also be looking to see if the couple of weeks off has improved the high press - and to see if improvements have been made with organising the defence - especially down the flanks.

Luca Connell and Jamie McCart both miss out through injury. Understand both are minor problems and they could be back for Tuesday, if not likely the next Sat. Nicky Cadden on bench and replaced by Callum Styles who makes his 150th appearance for the club.

REDS: Roberts (GK), O'Keeffe, Williams (c), de Gevigney, Shepherd, Styles, Kane, Russell, Phillips, McAtee, Cole.
Subs: Killip (GK), Cotter, Cadden, Łopata, Watters, Cosgrove, Jaló.

Bristol Rovers: Cox (GK), Connolly, Grant, Finley (c), Thomas, Martin, Vale, Brown, Evans, McCormick, Crama.
Subs: Ward (GK), Gibbons, Hoole, Hunt, Sinclair, Collins, Marquis.

1-0 HT, high tempo, approach play good, passing very poor!
Styles easily being pushed off the ball, slowly strutting around like he's Pele! Made a poor mistake at the end of the half which nearly cost us.
Kane MOM so far running the Midfield, Mcatee and Cole frightening them to death.
2nd half I'm expecting the usual dropping off allowing Rovers to come onto us, Collins will take off Mcatee and Cole and Rovers will equalise and we will be hanging on for a draw!

Looked bright , aggressive and full of intensity in patches but we just keep giving the ball away way too much .

Defensively , well it's frightening at times , let's hope the addition of Pines can add the quality we desperately need .

We lead but we need another don't we ? , maybe two .

    1st Half
As usual set off like a train.
Then as usual on about 15 minutes when we hadn’t scored we ran out of ideas.
After that - as frustrating as hell !!!

I don’t know what’s missing from this team - but something is - I think it could be midfield.

Our link up play in midfield is poor.
Russell well off the pace and looking rusty.
He also looks like he’s put weight on.
Kane his usual ponderous self - momentum of the play dropping 2 notches every time he receives the ball.
He’s often brushed off the ball.
But occasionally he tries to make a good pass.
Philips is his usual self - The Invisible Man.

Other than that we look good.
    Defence looks better organised.
Shepherd again showing we have a player here.
Styles playing his best game of the season - although he has made some silly mistakes.

Again McAtee and Cole working hard and running their blood to watter.

    Fingers crossed 2nd Half.
Because although Barnsley have dominated - we have made some bad mistakes allowing Bristol to have some really easy chances to score

Hope you’re wrong perky but I wouldn’t bet against it
This is an opportunity for a statement victory
Collins shouldn’t be as pragmatic as he has been of late
Despite our under strength line up today let’s clean their clocks 2nd half like Bolton n derby have been doing lately
