It is the same contractor that are looking after stuff at Gardyne and possibly Riverside as Dundee are using that as well.

Unless the contractor has been given funding to dig up the pitch to repair the land drains underneath the pitch it will continue to be waterlogged every time there is a spell of continuous rain.
Relaying the pitch for the past two close seasons was just papering over the cracks and not getting to the root of the drainage problems affecting the Dens Park pitch.
Nelms sitting in the front row of the Directors Box should have seen the drainage problems with the Dens Park pitch two years ago which resulted in the grass turning yellow close to the halfway line at the Main Stand side of the pitch.

Now changed to Sunday 11th 2 pm ko. Hopefully as suggested in OP we keep the Wednesday in hand in case of match off.
