As Clarkey says this is the brainchild of Willie Mckay and his agent son Mark. They are building a football development centre at their former race horse training complex just outside Bawtry. The plan is to use the centre to develop young footballers discarded by academies and get them re-intergrated back into the game. They have already started to build the centre by converting the large indoor horse training barn into an indoor all weather football training centre. TS take note and get on the phone.

As part of their plan they need to get Doncaster City as high up the football pyramid as they can as quickly as possible so they can give their academy lads exposure to mens footbal at a good level.

In the Central Midlands league you are free to sign players as long as they are registered the day before a game, the players mentioned are not "ringers" they are fully registered to play.

Willie McKay has two sons who were both discarded by academies, so he knows well how difficult it is for young players to get back into football. I am sure he is hoping to make a financial killing on a few players who he places with league clubs but there is actually some merit in his plans.

I know the 3 players were registered the day before, so ok to play, no complaint from other team, just some banter.
