I'm so with you on this. I have seen so many eras/performances where we were relying on long ball, players at the back couldn't even keep the ball in play when they hoiked it up, a stringing together of five passes was a miracle, shots on goal could be counted on one hand per month not per game and when generally the flair and excitement was so low that I thought football might be one of the worst sports in the world. 3.5k watching fans was probably a reflection of this as well as losing the will to live. Yes some shocking defending but also a team that has overall been outstanding. Fallen in love with football and Notts County again....
Went for 5, but could have been 4 tbh. The optimist in me tries to find the positive, but it’s been…disappointing. Not just the final position, but the realisation by the team that we’re not good enough in certain areas…and doing nothing to address it. Has Warner been sent back to Norwich now?
I'd say 7.5
Football is an entertainment business afterall and goals make that we score loads let loads in.
Depends which way you look at it and what you want I suppose, I always thought football was results based and would accept a 1-0 grind over a 4-3 defeat.
If we score on entertainment then it would be a 10/10 (5/10 for the doomongers + 5/10 for the HappyClappers). There's been some great attacking edge of the seat stuff undone by an equal amount of catastrophic comedy football.
Can't see the clicky thing but up to LW going, 9, after 3. Predicted 4th and still think we'd have done that under LW. No confidence in SM so predict different outcomes in this poll next year - but we are Notts, I live in hope.
Can’t see anything to click.
