    A huge amount of verbiage saying very very little.

    We don't know the size of the investment.

    We don't know what the Red Bull strategic objectives of a first investment in English football might be.

    We don't know what (if any) influence Red Bull will exert in transfer transactions (one suspects they have already been influential given the yanks appearance and the player transfers that followed and that was before any investment).

    We don't know, because none of the statements made so far are adequately categoric, what impact Red Bull may have on ER, specifically the branding.

    Lots of words signifying not very much, so far.

    Well, getting eyeballs on their brand is crucial for every club in their portfolio for starters.

    I also recall we reached a £15.5 million settlement with RB Leipzig following "that dispute" & ordered to pay former player Jean-Kevin Augustin a fee of £24.5 million in compensation after we were found to have "breached his contract".
    So possibly it'll filter back via sods law. 😉

    Incidently, while JKA was at Nantes he was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome (a serious illness affecting the nervous system) which cause numbness & weaknesses in all the limbs. He' now at Swiss outfit Basel & was banging goals in until he ripped all the major muscles in his thigh recently keeping him out.

    Not smart enough to know if its good or bad, but I do know, they won't want us languishing about in the second tier of English football

    For sure. Particularly if he is truthful about them choosing us over clubs above us.

    Having the best commercial sponsorship in the league can’t be a bad thing.

    The small equity stake helps in ffp terms too.

    Marathe seems to understand the limits of Red Bull influence that the supporters will tolerate so for now all seems good.

    Some of the players could have done with some red bull energy at times too 🤣

    Seems generally a positive move for now

    Leeds Supporters Trust has asked poignant questions and mostly answered. Time will tell but because I want it to work I’ll take a positive stance for now.

    Surely this can only help our push next season?.

    TSB don’t seem altogether happy on this one.

    Fingers crossed.☝️

    Think Wikipedia are getting a bit ahead of themselves;

    "owned by Red Bull" - Leeds? As per link;

    https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ca...ed_by_Red_Bull

    But shades of things to come?

    Can't quite see how the vast amount of words really answers anything, yet. Actions speak a great deal louder, and I for one will be watching what happens regarding the shirt sponsorship. None of their current stable of clubs, anywhere in the world, fail to have either the brand name in red on their shirt, and/or the brand image also in red. For those outside the UK the prospect of red on the white of a Leeds shirt might not mean anything, and I suspect that the Red Bull management could care less about the UK supporters who are most likely to object should such an abomination take place, because it's not they who they have invested in Leeds to attract.
