Personally, l don't think Southgate has ever been keen on Jack Grealish, whether that's a personal issue l don't know, but in Jack WE trust 👍

I think Jack has taken a step backwards at City - the individual brilliance has been sacrificed for the team and he looks a shadow of his Villa self. Very rare he gets past a defender whenever I’ve watched City live on TV this season. He does draw a lot of fouls, though.

comes on and sets up two goals with pieces of individual skill. why on earth would you want to take some one who can create from nothing !?

Agree. He's always drawn a lot of fouls though. He would be better off somewhere like Spurs where he will be given far more reign to do what he is good at but he won't win much there.

Southgate could be the best ever manager for England. He's made more progress deeper into tournaments.

He understands tournament football is not about looking good in the group stage.

He did his job against Italy in 2020, but ultimately the players have to do there's. As he learned himself.

How we do in this tournament will define his time as manager. Let's face it he's been the most successful since Ramsey whether you rate him or not.

You cannot argue with the facts but if Bobby Robson had this group of players I would love to have seen what he could have done. Only 50k odd at Wembley for the last game says a lot.

I’d have taken Grealish. He’s no where near the starting line up BUT if you are protecting a lead, he’s a great option to bring on. Like others have stated he draws fouls. He hardly loses possession.

He'd be better off back at Meadow Lane.
