Can’t disagree with you but would you not agree most of those games were poor due to Carlos’s tactics ie setting up not to lose and too much sideways passing? Whilst I acknowledge CC did a good job the football was dull and boring. Carbon copy of Southgate!

Carlos needs to get a striker in quicker and realise Wallace can’t play in that position so stop trying to accommodate him!!!

The analogy of CC and Gareth has some resonance with me baggieal buddy!

Similarly to Grand Waz I also saw the majority of the home games. Indeed we were typically lethargic first half and deservedly, occasionally conceded. Second half, much improved with more positivity. A better commitment from the KO, stronger leadership at the back and a striker and we should have the quality to finish comfortably in the top half and the least.

That would be great of course and nothing I would like more. But I saw every home game last season and a lot of those matches were poor. We hardly set a poor league on fire and scraped into the playoffs via the last game. I do not have the greatest confidence in the squad we have at the moment so as I said mid table or top ten will do for me. Anything better is a bonus.

Scraped into the playoffs? We were fifth from November onwards dipping to sixth briefly for a few hours before finishing fifth and five points clear of Hull who finished in seventh.

While we did have a dip in results towards the end of the season with the greatest of respect that isn't scraping into the playoffs. Given injuries to the forwards in particular we did well over the course of the season.
