When it turned out not to be Lampard and there was a name out there that hadn't been mentioned, then just who was it ? Kasper fits just like the missing piece in a jigsaw, if it's him, everything makes sense.

But of course, it might not be.
    Where are the links?

What links ? The only thing I'm going off is the above. There is one other tenuous link, he went to university in Florida and has played for the North Florida Ospreys, and our owners are Americans, might one or more of them be aware of him because of this ? Possibly, who knows, I don't, I'm just guessing, but it's all good fun, beats watching bloody cricket and tennis.

One last question, will it be pints all round in Manchester ?
Sorry mon ami my youngest lad will bet on the potential winner of ten cockroaches running up a wall.

He told me yesterday about a "dead cert" running in Wolverhampton today and I should have at least a tenner on it.

I did and he placed it. Turns out it was a bloody greyhound running at Monmore. It came in 1st at 8/1.

Pay for a good Indian at Anaz in Darwen this weekend.

The Great Dane is odds-on with SKY Bet now and he did not run at Wolverhampton.

Whoever takes the job has a hell of a lot of work to do with this lot.
We have a far weaker squad than the one that got us promoted and the squad that got us relegated from the Premier league in 2022.
Lets hope the new fella doesn't spend 100 million and produce a worse side, like Kompany did

I cannot agree we have a weaker squad than when we last won the Championship but we don't have Tella or Maatsen either. Koleosho and Amdouni might just fill their boots and it should be one heck of an interesting season. Berge can run the operation with his eyes shut, worry not b_c.

I can't see him chucking the Danish job to run a Championship outfit, my money is placed elsewhere.

VC no longer taking bets, market still up with WH and Sky but they're not taking bets on Kasper.

Make of that what you will, but it's what usually happens when the end game is playing out.
