I'm sure it wasn't him (confidence before a fall ...)

Trialist certainly wasn't Billy Waters...he looks about 17! Was given another half last night so might have impressed. Other 2 triallists from Newcastle game nowhere to be seen.
A different keeper on trial for first half, looked promising, very vocal, came for crosses and made one excellent save. Centre half triallist, Reuben? was off the pace and not ready.
All the new players impressed, but not sure about Knight-Lebel. Not very tall, got caught in possession a couple of times, but we'll see.

Definitely a different keeper? Seems surprising after they thanked Villa for letting Marschall go to Portugal with us as well as play at Newcastle.

Definitely. This guy was taller, had a beard and black hair.

LB just said we expect to sign a keeper on loan in the next 2 days (so before the Stoke game) - if they were signing Marschall (who is fair haired) it seems odd to play someone else this week, choosing between 2 loan options maybe?

Also expects 2 more permanent signings in the next couple of weeks - one or more of triallists?

Apparently the keeper at Stafford was Brad Foster from West Brom. 22 years old, very little experience, but he did look and sound very confident
