    I guess it will depend to some extent where you're sat (family stand, proximity to the players, etc), but likewise I think instances of racist comments/abuse are very rare these days (massive change in the last couple of decades). Homophobic comments between groups are more common, but I've not seen/heard much in terms of more targeted homophobic abuse.

    Football (not just our club) could do better in the way it addresses much of it though, rather than some of the us/them tactics they deploy... but having seen the reaction to rainbow laces and the infamous knee, I'm just glad I don't have to get involved with any of this for a living.

    You never know, keep going to the matches and maybe a game of football will spontaneously start
