I really have no idea what Farage would do to change this. This grifter is in the US at the moment at the Republican conference, he couldn't give a to55 about his constituents.

He would do what he's always done - make the situation worse.
That’s such an aloof and arrogant post!

Not everyone has the financial status to just up and leave a country.

The way you look down your nose at certain people on here does you absolutely no credit at all.

In fairness if he'd been born in America he's probably only about 15 years off being old enough to run for office, they might not let him in anywhere else 😀 .

Awful response 123. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but hey in your book all the millions who voted for Brexit and Farage are idiots!

Farage rightiy or wrongly does speak his mind and good for him. Someone needs to especially with Jihadi k nobs like Khan or n our streets!

PS - I agree with your - leave if you don’t like it - comment with reference to somebody who has acquired a British passport! Ungrateful
    W ankers!

There is no question that we do have problems in our country at the present moment, far too many for me to comment on. I don’t blame any political party in particular either.

What I do blame is a culture that appears to be lacking in common sense, discipline and a society that empowers minority groups, no matter what they represent, to hold sway and think that their opinions are the only ones that matter and override the opinions of the majority. I suppose what I am stating is that this ‘woke’ generation need to take a long, hard look at themselves. Don’t get me wrong, not all youngsters are of this ilk, but again, the ones who make the most noise are.

I may sound like a ‘Colonel Blimp’ but I am eternally grateful that I was born and bred in an era where discipline, common sense, sense of duty etc. were the norm. Tin hat at the ready.

I don't see how. If Boingy feels its already too late for the country, he should probably leave and move to a country lead by right-wing Governments. I hear that will be the US in the coming months.

I'm pretty sure people on here told me I could/should leave the country after the Brexit vote.

If everyone left who voted for Farage and Brexit then not many would be left. Apart from your friend Khan those flying Palestinian flags and of course those whingeing about the barges!

I don’t like Trump but in your book half of the USA will be idiots too including powerful businessmen and big companies!

Boingy made a point and why shouldn’t he!!!

Can we all not ever post something with facts? Rather than always post links.. it just shows some laziness and unwillingness to check sources

Soulman, no offence and don’t mean to single you out but I think you’ve posted a lot of links lately that really do not tell the reality of what is actually going on.

BaggieAl - again, okay i’m not a fan of khan or no reason not to be, I don’t have an opinion on him purely because he’s nothing to do with me. But to link him to terrorism/extremism as if he’s linked to them? really. He’s just a mayor. If i’ve got me reason on this wrong then someone please enlighten me.

Anyway, back to Farij… why is in the states? Just watch him struggle to answer this question by Emily Mathis. He should be in Clacton.. he was in the states, came back for kings speech, then back to states again. Make up your own mind after watching this..

But i doubt any of you will watch it to form your own opinion, rather than why a paper tells you.

We go on about minorities here, perhaps we should look to do something about the Welsh who can’t stand us. Bloody sheeeeep shisters

I'm sure everyone is aware of my own feelings on Nige and, at heart, I personally believe that he is little different than a grifter who is primarily out for himself and criticises but actually offers very little in the way of real solutions. That does not mean, however, that he is wrong to hi-light various issues or point out (rather obviously in most cases) that certain things are happening in our society that should not. My disagreement with him is in his own interpretation of these, his belief in the root causes of them and his suggested solutions.

Can't claim to know the whole story of the rioting in Leeds but I'd lay money on there being a whole range of issues behind it and as Social Services normally bend over backwards to allow children to remain with their parents and only remove them as a last resort, I'm sure there is a bit more to this story.

Causes? Scumbag hooliganism, lack of discipline and respect? No doubt. But equally disenchantment, frustration and lack of equality and opportunity. Still, I'm sure it's all those illegal boat people who are really to blame 🤔😁

In the past Khan has admitted to funding groups tied to both Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad and is banned from Israel as a result of its ties to terror. Didn’t he praise that scumbag suicide bomber too - can’t recall his name? Horrible man!

Ah, "Colonel Blimp"! Brilliant movie. I'm sure you already know that Churchill wanted it banned at first because he thought people would believe that officers at the time were still stuck in some kind of naive and upper class chivalric past but it ended up being a box office hit. I take your point though. Steven Fry saw the film as addressing "what it means to be English"-something we seem to be slowly but surely moving away from in too many ways.
