Indeed. Why are songs being sung in English?

The horse running on water, the cauldron and Celine Dion were about only good parts. 2012 still best one.

I didn't see or hear all of it, but Bizet and Piaf could be said to be fairly representative of the history of music. If you try to encompass all the regional variations you run the risk of spreading the 'jam' too thin.

It's estimated that over 450 Ukrainians who had the potential to become Olympians have lost their lives in the Russian invasion.

    Sobering thought.

    World Cup

I'll watch the marathon, 100m, possibly some of the middle distance races, but in terms of viewing hours I'll always watch a lot more of the World Cup.

In truth, I'll probably spend longer watching F1 and cricket during these games.

A great depiction of the last supper! Played by a group of transvestites.

They are mocking the French religion and wouldn’t dare do it to any other.

A Smurf with his testicles hanging.
A decapitated queen singing in a window wearing red.
The fourth apocalyptic horseman riding up the river Seine.

All is normal in the world of the organisers.

The neighbours I spoke to this morning said these things.

Don’t know but did you read about the hockey player, maybe Australian can”t remember…but had part of his finger amputated so he could play in tournament,he could have had surgery to correct it and keep the full finger, but it would have took weeks to heal…so had it chopped off instead so he can play…🤔..

The BBC rated the opening ceremony as magnificent

But maybe that's just them trying to justify their blanket coverage
