    That was very poor.
Psychology playing a major role today - probably more than it usually does.

Northampton should have been well clear 20 minutes into the game.
Barnsley then get two goals - one of them a lucky goal.

Everyone is thinking the game over.
Then out of the blue Northampton get one back - and importantly they realise Barnsley are finding it difficult because they haven’t got any threat up front.
From then on there was only one team likely to win it - and that team wasn’t Barnsley.

Overall - we are not seeing the dreadful football that we witnessed last season.
But we look very disjointed with no teeth in attack.
Cosgrove is an impact player off the bench.
Watters shouldn’t be anywhere near the 1st Team.
Look on Cosgroves face when Watters scored revealed a lot.

On the positives - it’s still early days.

2-0 up, cruising and probably looking the most likely to get the next goal but ends up 2-2. Poor.

1 point from 2 home games against Mansfield and Northampton isn’t anywhere near good enough.

Clarke seems to speak a lot of sense but some of his subs seem to hinder us rather than improve us.

This week we absolutely need to bring in 2 strikers of quality. I thought Watters looked good today and Cosgrove was okay (apart from getting caught offside 100 times) but that’s all we have. Bring in 2 so we can have a group of forwards and then Jalo to also offer something different.

Clarke is a candidate for the new Tinkerman in my opinion.

One positive from the Third Division mid table start to the season and likely mid table finish.

The owners can't hide behind the idea that everything is OK.

Some on here will tell you that the owners are the best thing since sliced bread , alas that is not the case but hopefully they will fill Clarkes tool box and give him a chance to do his job but at the moment he will struggle with what he has got .

Didn’t watch the game after the first 15 minutes crap quality stream and switched to Man City game.
Just seen the very short sky highlights and from that nothings really changed very worrying times.
On transfers Clarke mentions the phrase “thinking outside of the box” so let’s see what the end of this week brings.

Other than the two goals, and the clapping for the lad on 18….. it was like sitting in a morgue. The silence is felt right from the shop at the top,of the hill….. to taking the seat. Even the lad who, scanned our barcodes at the turnstiles looked as though he was apologising in advance, ……..
