With the greatest respect Calgary, sit back and do nothing or take it to the bully! Either way it could lead to another world war. The least likely route is to put the aggressor back where it belongs. He (Putin) is the aggressor, will he leave it at Ukraine? Probably not. So think on, where next? If we/you allow his (Putin’s) dream to become reality (world domination) along with that of other totalitarian powers, to do nothing is not really an option.

United we stand divided we fall.

We/you have strength in unity. Nothing else needs to be said.

Not addressed to just you but all on this thread.

It is not a war of Ukraine & Russia but of NATO led by USA against Russia. It is a money maker for the defence industries admitted by USA & UKK government.
It is a fight for the raw materials in Ukraine esp lithium admitted by US senator. And shamefully NATO is happy putting Ukrainians and Russians into the mincer again it has been admitted. A war to make money at very little electoral cost and no body bags

Have none of you read the background to this - the Minsk agreement, the provocation of the West, the coup to get Zelensky in , the corruption , the action against Russian regions in Ukraine- have none of you read any of this Western escalation.

Fine..... fight if you must . Will you be still rattling your sabres if it comes to boots on the ground and conscription. UK has an army of 71000 fighting soldiers so it will be call up time

If we attack Moscow or St Petersburg there will be no choice for the Putin but to attack the ||||est. |||
The Russian people and military already want dramatic escalation and if we escalate and attack major cities Putin will have no choice.

So for f... sake think and do some research.

Strangely enough, I have my doubts that the opinions of a few West Bromwich Albion supporters on a football message board are going to shape the decisions of anyone remotely involved with the decision making process of the war in Ukraine!

I don't understand why we in the west are remotely afraid of Putin. He can't defeat Ukraine, which has demonstrated he would have zero chance of taking on Nato. Yes he has nuclear weapons but so does the west and even someone as mad as Putin will not start a nuclear conflict that would result in mutual destruction. Let the Ukrainians use weapons however they want. When the Germans bombed London we retaliated similarly. I do think that a few more missiles closer to Moscow might persuade the Russian people to get rid of Putin.

I tend to agree with you. What idiot would attack any opponent who also possess nuclear weapons? No matter what you think of Putin, and I don’t think a great deal, he’s not an idiot. Self centred, a bully, a liar, no thought for his own soldiers, yes, but not an idiot.

Totally agree! The Ukrainians should flatten some parts of Moscow as long as it’s not innocent civilians. Like for like! Bordering forgets the Nazi’s but he’s clearly an idiot!

The only way to tackle a bully is full on. As Mick said the Yanks have the capability to wipe Russia from the map.
