Unfortunately Scott hasn't looked anywhere near the standard we need.

If he doesn't improve I'd be looking to get another striker in and send him out on loan to get some consistent game time.
He had a big injury around this time last year
It takes up to 18 months to get back to full match sharpness
Hope the latest problem isn't too serious

He's not going to get another 6 months unless his performances improve.

His stock will sharp rise with a goal if he's ever played from the start in his favoured position.

I don't think Jatta should start when he returns whilst McGoldrick is in this vein of form let alone dropping him for Scott.

I'm sure he'll get his chance up top at some point.

There lies the issue, he's very rarely going to start as the lone striker ahead of Jata and Mcgoldrick when both are fit.

Both Scott and Austin could be NL loan candidates this season - both would benefit from a solid run of starts

Austin isnt a player id loan though he is a squad player, never moans and is never injured these types are important.

No chance Austin goes out out on loan.

He can play anywhere in midfield and both full back positions, gives 100% in every game and doesn't seem the type to kick if he's not selected. Every squad needs a couple of Sam Austins, if anything I'd be tying him up to a longer contract.

I'am in the minority as I have never rated Scott, bar the Wembley penalty.

He did nothing pre season and nothing so far. Looked uninterested and at times lazy.

Farm him out on loan somewhere. We won't miss him.

That’s likely to be a few weeks out.
