They really weren't Greavsie! Apart from the first 15vmins or so I thought we managed the game very well. We scored a great goal and never really looked troubled. I though we were the better side in the second half but didn't take our chances. You can't legislate for the deflection that got their equalizer but you just can't defend like that for their winner. I don't thing O'Neil squad selection was the best, how does Docherty make the bench over Lima? As such I don't think his subs were good either. I thought the 3 midfielders were superb but what Hwang and Docherty brings to the team is beyond me!

I have to agree with what you say Plater. Apart from the first fif**** minutes, we managed the game well and played some good football, infact, overplayed at times, when a quick forward pass may have been better. Newcastle played a high line and the game cried out for a Neto to get in behind with pace.

I thought Larsen had a good game , never giving their centre backs an easy afternoon. Considering the short time the players have had together it was a promising performance. We hit the post twice and Pope earned his wages with a couple of great saves. You can't do much about the first goal but their second could have been prevented.

I know recent results have not looked good but we must have had the toughest start of any team in the league, and it doesn't get any easier for a few more games. I am confident we will be ok come May, we have some class players and they will take time to gel. I also think our starting eleven will look different come November.

It is not the time to sack our manager as many are calling for. I think some spend too much time on Football Manager.
