I feel like I am becoming a bit like stuck record criticising this seemingly immovable adherence to playing out from the back. We were a little fortunate not to get punished and the time will come when we definitely will be.

Palmer needs to be better, he’s the biggest problem.

The cardinal sin for a keeper or a defender is to play a ball to a player who is facing you square on with an opponent closing in on them from behind.

Palmer played one ball to the edge of his “D” to our player who had absolutely no chance due to the closing down.

    Idiotic at best.

Although Yokuslu was a positionally superb player he lacked energy, that is the big difference this season, we look quick all around the pitch.
Some of Molumby’s tackles remind me of Roy keen. (Albeit Keen was a much better footballer)

From the limited time I have watched the Baggies this year, it has been a real joy to see them play with great energy levels. From defending to attack much quicker then the last five/six seasons at least. Of course the trick is to keep it consistent for forty odd games not just the beginning. But without doubt, we carry a big threat breaking quickly.
Even Maja's ball for Fellows from inside our half to nearly scoring a few seconds later down the other end.
It's exciting to watch cause it isn't slumbering sideways passes and backwards passing but positive football, which has got to be more enjoyable to watch then slow drudging football.
    Long may it last.
