Nothing wrong with luxury players when the team is doing okay , GGH was a perfect example of a luxury player well worth having in the team and like lyall a joy to watch

Maybe to potential he has should be worked on by TD? Never sure what can be coached and what cannot be improved with coaching. Basic principle seems to me to be if the player can produce flashes of brilliance on a fairly regular basis then you would hope that this talent could be encouraged with sympathetic coaching.
