What an absolute diabolical game! Ni mind average Yak. It was crap, slow and dire.

If he took 2 1/2 years to build that team for Stevenage then it’s going to be awful going forward for the next couple of years for us..

    It’s dreadful football!!!

Yeah I know I was giving them the benefit of the doubt because of the win.

Wasn’t impressed at all today, but 3 points is 3 points. Onwards and upwards.

Thought Jules, Wilkes and nombe had decent games.

Cohen bramell and Powell, I’d like to see them pass to a player on the same team once a game at least!

That was the most difficult to watch 2-0 win I've ever seen.

Absolutely uninspiring performance, yet somehow we're approaching mid-table.

Is it me? Was the standard that much better in the Championship, 'cos with the exception of Brum there's been some proper shyte played by all at the NYS this season.

    Where do I start?

I'll finish with the last 20 minutes. Sub on made a big difference as aerial balls lobbed/booted up front were at last won by Hugill, still had a few on his arse antics though. We get a break with his massively deflected shot, but we'll take it and Hugill will too. He shut the boo boys up sat near me when he'd scored, (also on the match day thread), thought I was in a library for a few minutes .

How's the song go? ''Oh greedy greedy, greedy greedy greedy greedy Malik Wilks''. Take away that goal/fluke and he offered nothing today as he again and persistently would not pass the ball to a fellow player who was better positioned to score.

Holmes on as sub and AGAIN, very effective with his no nonsense driving forward attitude. Why doesn't this lad START a game?

That game up to 70 minutes was as dire, boring, and as zzzzzzzz as they come. I simply could not wait for the final whistle so I could go home.

    The end.

This league lacks players with composure. They panic a lot. For us, Kelly was supposed to be the man, a player who can "drop the ball on a sixpence". I hope he will. But at Orient the sixpence was nowhere near the pitch. Composure on the ball is a rare and valuable commodity. We had it with Barlaser

We needed a win,and we got one,but far from convincing, and we started with some width, which most of us have crying out for.
Jules looks a decent player,Wilkes is the only one who makes things happen, but he is rather greedy, which wouldn`t matter if we had 4 or 5 better players.
Evans talks about this "Rebuilding job",which is probably true,so does that mean no chance of promotion then ?
If so,I could live with a season of consolidation,if that`s what this is,but then say that, but I suppose no manager is ever going to say that, but hopefully the better run we had up to last week will return, and we can start to climb the table.
