Great performance and bossed the game start to finish…. They had a good chunk of possession, but it looks like that without Odergaard, if you mark out their wide men they’re toothless… and every single team in the Prem will have seen that game.

    Hall was outstanding
Tino had Martinelli in his pocket
Gordon… last 2 games on the RW and he’s been outstanding.
Willock back in the team is a real shot in the arm.
Longstaff okay, but the run Tonali went on and got fouled to bring down… Longstaff will never have that in his locker.
Good header from Isak on the end of a cracking cross from Gordon down the RW.

The next 3 will be a different test… if they play a low block can we play up the field quick enough to beat it?

Bloody hell, that's some result, man! Even Arteta was impressed! I must have watched the goal about 80 times-what a cross and what a header.

Have you seen the clip of Shearer celebrating and Wrighty looking glum. Shearer shouts 'that was like a cross from the 90's' 🤣🤣

It's brilliant - my fave is Shay breaking the table leg though

Was a great game and a great result.

Some points that are worth noting.

    - We've had the two best academy products out of Chelsea As little Joe says of Hall "Englands best LB". What a game by the pair of them.
    - Big Joe, just looks a much better player when he has Little Joe playing near him.
    - Longstaff really is a ***** cog in games like this.
    - Isak looked much happier after scoring today, fully in the team celebration.
    - Isak has now scored in the lat 3 consecutive game. . . hopefully this is him back and he's going on the scorer streak we know he can do.

Longstaff was amazing today. It's a team game.

    Totally agree mate.

The game was played where we wanted it to be played. Everything was controlled and in front of us.

Midfield we pushed everything wide as mentioned Tino and Hall had the measure of their wingers. Was great to see, 'Pocketed' is the right word.

Proof of the pudding is in the eating of the next 3 matches. We do indeed need to figure out how to beat teams that don't want to push out and just sit deep.

Back to the Newcastle United we became accustomed to under early Eddie Howe.
A team effort if I ever saw one and Arsenal simply struggled against our never say die efforts.
30 million for Lewis Hall? Pffffft, he looks a steal and a half as does Livramento.

Sean Longstaff generally goes under the radar and doesn't get the credit in many games but is one hell of a cog in the machine.

    I'm over the moon.
