    Hi guys. Defeat was hard to take so late in the game. The ref is all powerful and can decide a result on a whim, that’s why VAR was introduced, to eliminate mistakes. Neither side deserved to win.

    Losing control of the middle third late in games and consequently putting the defensive third under more pressure is costing us.
    At Burnley we attempted to close the game down by bringing on less capable players to try to hold out for the draw with some of our first choice players seemingly unable to last the 90 minutes.
    It has been happening too often this season, our failure to score goals due to deficiencies in the attacking third, and lack of creativity in the middle third.
    To state the obvious it’s something that needs fixing in the January transfer window with reinforcements if possible.
