What is brown supposed to bring to the table apart from chasing around aimlessly. Creates nothing scores less

It's a training session but that's largely down to Newport showing no interest in attacking.
They've got a giant on loan up front and I don't think they've once tried to pick him out with a long ball yet.

Until the 86th minute when they finally get one on his head and he scores the winning goal in true Notts County fashion

It's livened up last 10 mins or so but you can feel their keeper growing in confidence and that he's thinking "nothing is getting past me today".

pedestrian! Think we're building control and intensity - slightly. Ness seems to be growing into the game.

This is very much there for the taking. Created some good openings.

They look nice one the eye, but have not got anything like an end product at the minute. The back three, Platt and Ness in particular, have defended excellent on the front foot.

Lots of space to exploit, especially centrally if we can win the ball before it hits the half way line.

good strike from GA towards the end of the half, but neither Palmer nor Abbott great so far.

They are there for the taking. That's why it's frustrating that 3 of our front 5 have been so poor - Jatta, definitely Brown and of course Austin.

On the positive side, another good showing from Ness so far. Macari and Tsaroulla have been decent. We need the disappointing players to up their game in the final third
