They have only one win and one draw on the road. Home win by the odd goal coming up.

    Jim Goodwin press interview

Ross Graham training and hopefully ready for the matchday squad at the weekend. Could possibly have made the squad for Newco but we're erring on the side of caution.

Ross Docherty "injury may extend to two weeks" Whatever that means. 2 weeks more I'm assuming. Very vague.

Kristijan Trapanovski doing light running but unlikely to be ready for St Mirren or Killie games. Mid December mentioned.

Hard to predict how we'll line up on Saturday, but I'm expecting Manny Adegboyega will come back in. Gallacher and Holt were fantastic at Mordor. Could stay back 4 with Holt out in front again or revert to a back 3.

Either way we've reached a place where we can trust the manager to come up with a line up that works or tweak it quickly when it isn't having the desired effect. 3 points on Saturday would be massive and set us up for the visit of Killie. A draw or a loss would add a wee bit of pressure to get all 3 points the following week.

So let's get right behind the lads and hopefully get the victory 🧡

Doc. Needs to go see a Doc , a REAL Doc. I was SO looking forward to watching (our captain) prove he can play at this level. (and I'm convinced he can) but................ It can't be the sleepy car cramp now, or endless niggles etc. that go from a couple oh weeks, to a few weeks, to a month etc etc.

Some players don't have the (ahem) commitment to play at a demanding level, sadly, I think this might be the elephant in the room.

Would LUV him to come back in the next few weeks and Captain the team to safety, then push on regardless. Not so sure that will happen though.

    Then again...yi never know !

I think you're right about the elephant mate. Really good player for us when he's playing, but he just never is. Not enough commitment to keeping himself fit seems likely to me, and not deserving of the club captaincy until he sorts that out.

Why would any team at top level touch DOcherty with his injury record? Even if you have a highly incentivised pay and play contract, you are essentially a man down in your squad 60% of season, and can't make any plans around having him in your team.

I think people are being a bit unfair here or quick to write him off

He showed Vs Rangers at home how good he can be, it's definitely worth sticking by him for this season and see how it goes then evaluate from there imo

He didn't have a history of this and he's still contributed a lot when playing, first half of last season, end of last season and in the few weeks this season

Hoping he'll come back and get a run without fitness issues, as our loss would end up being someone's gain, we've done that too much in recent years

Really tough game tomorrow, full strength in form side, when on form a top six side with a top six manager, would be some three points if we pull it off while still missing who we are
