It was always likely to happen with teams on the edge of the play offs, having one and in some cases, two games in hand. I think most realistic fans have seen this coming despite the old 'bed wetter' label being thrown around.

The more games called off, the better the PPG table is for assessing the state of play.
With the regular table there's a tendency in your head to apply 3 additional points for every game in hand or just to overlook games in hand altogether, whichever suits your needs.
8th in the PPG table is a fair reflection of where we are at and where we are likely to finish, give or take a position or two, if the rest of the season mirrors what we've done so far.

"In MY head" I tend to assume 2 points at the top end of the table and 1 at the bottom. PPG is better though.

I recall someone once saying something like "not interested in your daft football opinions" and then Elite, I think, proposed that as the site's motto.

I remember this often, reading posts here But it's the diversity of daft opinions that keeps me coming back...

Can't remember that, but I did once say that "everyone is entitled to their own stupid opinion"!

It was a joke, but it would be really dull if we all agreed.

It's a fairly average league full of fairly average teams. I do honestly believe with Dan Edwards and Jodi we would be top 2 right now. And as long as they are back soon I still think we will finish top 3. In this division those 3 can absolutely be the difference.

Just been reading the Millwall board. Langstaff missing sitters.

In the video posted the other day SM said that a couple of players were so close to coming back but a smidgen off todays match. By that I take it they will be ready for next game hopefully.

Unless they get a twinge in training.
