    "Illsun" is one of those odd ones.
    Meduz et al, I guess, just the local accent - which I hope will never be lost.

    Where I live in the north of Scotland it's almost impossible to try to pronounce place names!
    Apart from the accents there's the different origins: Gaelic, Brittonic, Norse, Scots, etc.
