Hopefully he isn't going back in January, time will tell

I can't remember our strikers scoring regular early season though and we done fine, goals were coming from all over

It's injuries we are not having much luck with just now

Is it even possible for any Arab to look forward to this match? Not me anyway.

No, always a real effort/chore to go to this game. For much of the 80s and part of the 90s utd v Celtic games were usually classics too, Celtic gung ho, utd picking them off a lot of the time, but always end to end.

Yeah, back in the 80s your season ticket assured you some real match ups with the old firm, where you actually thought you had a chance of turning them over.

Now it is either the inevitable defeat or even worse, a hammering.

Strangely, lots of teams over the last 10 years have managed to get wins over the uglies, while we struggle. Admittedly we have been up and down (literally) but even when we have finished the season above them we have struggled.

Not in the normal sense but it's a good challenge, nothing to lose really, worst case you want to avoid anything more than a 3 goal defeat

Think some of our fans are scarred by the one obvious result but that was with us in disarray with a hopeless goalie and them being relentless, outwith that in recent years, we got a three draws, a couple narrow defeats and a couple 3-0's were the worst defeats

Hopefully the fans that go are up for it and just back them to the hilt

That's what I'm saying, you'd be happy with a 3 or fewer goal defeat? I'm not getting at you, I think most Arabs feel like that, it's pish.

It not just the hammering we got fairly recently either, it's the endless list of them coming back at us and beating us at the death. I phuckin hate it.

I'm with you Terry, absolutely hate playing these c*nts. Nothing whatsoever to celebrate about losing, whether it's by 9 or by 1, hate losing and hate the old firm! Merry Christmas though 😂

Just like the thought that could be there for a 1 in 100 kind of outcome, there would need no bigger Kevin Keegan moment

It's harder than before these days with the 5 sub rule, not only had that made it more difficult for everyone else its gave then even more confidence

All their players know they are overall better and more athletic and know that they have equally good teammates to come in later in games if needed and 5 of them that can overrun the opposition who are mismatched, they have such a strong squad for to their financial situation

They are so so sure of themselves on and off the park in domestic games, their fans know it too, we could be winning 2-3nil with ten mins to go and they'd still believe they could win due to all of that

It's really really really pish as you say, I hate it too, it's not like it was even in the 90s or during the 2006-2014 era

Our fans should not see a defeat like 3-0 as something to criticise is what I mean, I'm thinking more for goal difference and confidence levels good forward that if the was a worst case then....

    Either way, cmon United

Used to go to every Infirm game up to about the mid 90s, then home and work life increasingly got in the way. Now i just canny be bothered with the sectarian pish that only seems to have gotten so much worse.

Hopefully see it on the tele though!
