Professional and disciplined win from Wakefield against a 3rd tier team Goole. Good for building confidence and fitness levels before the Super League season starts next week.

Just finished watching Championship side Bradford edge out Super League Castleford, a well deserved win. Even before the SL season starts would not surprise me to see Cas taking the wooden spoon.

Can we start the season well by beating Leeds at Headingly next Saturday, yes we can!

What a great game that was at Odsal with the Bulls winning 18-16 over classless Cas .

Proper Rugby League Challenge Cup tie that was .

    Betfred Super League Round One

    Leeds Rhinos 12 - 14 Wakefield Trinity

There's only one game better than beating Castleford for the Trinity faithful and that's beating the Leeds Rhinos , even better when you beat them at Headingley .

Great start for Trinity back in Super League , three first half tries had us leading 14 - 6 at halftime and in the second half it was about defending well and being resolute which we did magnificently , even when going down to 12 men when Mason Lino was sin binned for 10 minutes .

Cracking start for Trinity , next up Hull KR on Thursday evening at Belle Vue .

If any posters are interested it's Wakefield Trinity v Hull KR tonight live on Sky Sports with an 8PM KO .

If you aren't in to Rugby League it's still worth watching the pre game show just before the teams come out on to the pitch .

There's quite a bit that lot at Oakwell could learn in how to put an event on with fan experience etc etc .

The game is a complete sell out tonight so the atmosphere will be electric too .

A big ask tonight for Trinity against last season's beaten Grand Finalists but we'll be giving it a good go none the less .

Big task for Trinity tonight Animal.

Hull KR no injury problems we have 5 big lads out Atoni, Rodwell, Nikotemo, Griffin and Hood and in the backs Scott and Matty Russell.

Score prediction Hull KR by 18 points.

Due to some ongoing renovations not all the ground capacity can be used tonight, but for sure will still be a great atmosphere.

    Up the Trin!

    Betfred Super League Round Two

    Wakefield Trinity 12 - 14 Hull KR .

I was a tad gutted at the end Chop which just shows how far Trinity have come in the last 12 months mate .

This was a high quality game of Rugby League in my opinion Chop and we went toe to toe with the second best team in Super League .

There was the width of a fag paper between us and I thought we were worth at least a shot at the Golden Point and extra time .

It wasn't to be but we will certainly more than hold our own this season .

Fantastic to see the ground full last night and a brilliant atmosphere to boot .

    Up The Trin .

    Betfred Super League round 4

    Warrington 16 Wakefield Trinity 30

Following the disappointing performance the week before against St Helens the Mighty Trin put on a superb second half time performance to leave the score at 30-10 before a late score gave the home side a little more respectability.

Every squad player 1 - 17 put in a high quality shift to really show that we are not going to be easy team to play against. In glorious weather we defended well and at times looked razor sharp in attack. I was really well chuffed to have been at the game and seeing their home supporters drifting out of the stadium long before the final whistle made the journey even more worthwhile.

2 wins in our first 4 games both away from home is a good start as we get used to being back in Super League. I will stick with my prediction of finishing 8th but who knows could we make 6th spot and and make the play-offs.

A Challenge Cup game at Huddersfield this Sunday gives us an opportunity to having a good cup run and dream of Wembley!

Some key players we should also be welcoming back from injury over the next 2-3 weeks, competition for the shirt could get interesting.

    Up the Trin!

Slightly cheeky one here. I missed out on early bird Magic Weekend tickets as I couldn't find anywhere sensibly priced to stay. I've now found somewhere and wondered if any of our posters could get a couple of tickets at season ticket / members prices ?

Love to help and both the wife and myself are ST holders but we are going up ourselves to Newcastle .

We are on a bus with Caledonian Travel that's catering for both Trinity and Cas fans which should be interesting although we don't know where we are staying until we arrive up there Saturday morning .

    Good Luck anyway kernow
