I think he?s talking about if TS sacks Evans (not about the plan on the pitch). I agree, I don?t think there will be a thought through plan to replace him.

I also don?t think there will be much of a plan for the players tomorrow.

Evans will not get sacked and he certainly won't resign. No decent manager would want to come and work under such tight budgets, that we are renowned for. That's why Waney left because of the very little support he had.Nothing will change unless we have new owners.

That's what I assumed he meant which is why I said "beat me to it."
Let's face facts, it's an open secret that the club doesn't do plans.
If TS sacks his mate (which he won't) he probably will take so much time getting a replacement in that the January transfer window will have closed.

And there you have it, game tomorrow goes Sarf then TS sacks Evans. Someone new coming in but too late to use January window which will be another January window where nothing was spent.

    A plan.??....a plan.??? that's the best laugh I've had for a long while...lol.

He won't sack them both if we lose against Stockport.
If he did he would have to accept once again he's got it wrong.
    All comes down to EGO.

    Will ego, won't ego...

As I have repeatedly said, sacking SE is not the answer. My point relates to TS as you are well aware.

So, as unpopular as this will be on here, I would stick with SE and give him this coming transfer window and the rest of the season to turn this around. We will gain nothing by sacking him now and bringing in another ?prospect? like Taylor and the notion of recruiting an experienced manager just won?t happen. Who would come here? I?d much sooner have SE who is clearly passionate about the club.

NWC, can you see what you put there? ''the notion of recruiting an experienced manager just won?t happen. Who would come here?''

Therein lies the problem. Who WOULD come here under such tight restraints? There's owning a club and there's progressing a club.

Tony's stubbornness of not allowing investors in or selling the club to allow it to flourish in a different direction, is now showing a demise and backwards retreat to League 2. Do the fans deserve this?

You can ask if the fans deserve this brin. But I've said before. Fans don't have a say in anything that happens in their club

Too true pal they don't but without their input of regular season tickets or floating fans, there wouldn't be a club. It's not all about what a Chairman puts in, they come and go. It's the 'now' fans and then their family/friends and next generation that will keep this club going.

The cracks have been appearing for a few years now and using Paul Warne' leadership as an example, he gave us some memorable and not so memorable times and all on a mediocre budget. He saw the light in that the expenditure required to compete in the Championship was never forthcoming so did the right thing and moved on.

All the big talk of how Taylor blew our biggest ever budget will be revealed in February's accounts. Regardless of what it was, this club needs a lot more investment now more than ever if only to stay in League 1. It won't happen as Tony likes the front doors locked, it's his and only his club!
