Oddofin very impressive again, in a strong overall defensive performance. Lots to like about the team performance as a whole, although Wilkes might attract some criticism for his usual failings. Putting his chance away would have made some amends.

McWilliams, Powell and MacDonald all made significant contributions, as did Bramhall in a cameo performance.

Just listening to a miserable Millers fan (Grist?) grumbling about today's performance on Praise or Grumble. God knows what Kieran thought about the previous 4 months!
    Whatever happened to Gristofthemill?

Also just listened to Kieran on the radio. Totally baffled what he was talking about! I think we have all moaned about the previous few months but don't think you can complain about Wednesday or today.

Cracking point today. We looked solid and could have won it.
The manager should take credit for today as he got it spot on again.
Some key signings and we should keep improving.
I?m not interested in going up this year. We should be looking to get the squad right for next season.
Still not convinced about SE but he?s taken stick so he should get praise for the last 2 results.

I haven't seen the game today so can't make a comment on the performance but on the face of it that's a cracking result considering our respective league positions. Hopefully a corner has been turned.

I think the key to the improvement in the last two games has been the blossoming central defensive due with Humphrys in front of them which with reasonably good film balls are making a good basis to build on along with the much improved Phillips behind them. Mcwilliams and McDonald both give us quite a busy of not hugely high quality midfield in front of Humphreys and Powell also busy but with more quality on the ball. Not promotion material but has stopped the rot and made us hard to play against. Good basis on which to build if we can do something to make us look more dangerous up top. I think Nombe could do a great job at this level but isn't an Evans player at all, he needs the ball played on the floor in front of him, and to feed of wingers. Good improvements, keep it up! C+

Probably the slight problem with this squad is we need 2 more windows to get the perfect setup.
Were very strong along the back 4 but lack alternatives.
Were strong in cm but lack width.
We have 2 willing strikers who work hard but without the natural goal scoring instinct... Sadly jch is the only natural goal scorer we have but his mobility is shocking.. though he will probably still end up out leading goal scorer

A midfield trio of Humphreys,Tiehi and Powell will be as solid as anything in this league (but will Mr Stewart be able to resist selling any one of them?). We need more flair and pace upfront signed in this window. JCH has been a disastrous signing as Evans is now accepting it seems.
