What's that saying about apples not falling far from their trees? In an interview with Susanna Reid, Musk's father seriously compared Tommy Robinson with Nelson Mandela whilst defending his son as a genius 😂

Trump is one thing (and I agree with much of what OB has said about him) but Elon Musk is becoming seriously unhinged. Time for the men in white coats...

Not overly concerned with what Musk has to say. However, we should all be concerned with what the Tangerine Trumpet thinks of what he says. And more importantly what he does about what he thinks about what Musk says.

Tbh 68, I think they are both narcissists and likely psychopaths so neither will ever play well with others. I expect they will continue to share some common beliefs but similarly have some major falling outs.

The weird thing about the Orange One is that his unpredictability probably worries Putin, Jinping, etc as much as it does America's traditional allies.

Your not wrong there Omeg. If you were Putin, Iran or China - who would you worry about most Trump or Sleepy Jo? Exactly it!

Trump will be a nasty piece of work and that?s what bullies don?t like. Imagine if someone like Hamas s hits on Trump - he won?t go down the political route. He will decimate them?

Always difficult as whilst I don?t like a Trump or Musk - I dislike lefties like Starmer and his cabinet even more. The issues in the U.K. are similar to the USA and we all know what they are - so in the USA things will probably improve now under Trump to the liking of the majority. Will things improve under Starmer and Labour in the U.K.? Whether anyone wants to hear it or not - both Labour and the Tories are playing into the hands of Reform who are growing significantly by the day.

Shocking to even hear of grooming gangs in the U.K. whoever didn?t stop it/turned a blind etc.

A priority needs to be made on building more prisons as they are full. Prison for those carrying knives many say. I don?t disagree but our prisons are full and here lies the problem with broken U.K.

Although I dislike Trump intensely I am getting to the stage where I look forward to his pronouncements as they are so outrageous that they are becoming amusing. Half of the stuff that he comes out with must surely be bluster as it wouldn’t be possible to achieve. Yes, he is a bully, a liar, a criminal, but do the public, especially the British public, really believe his pronouncements. Perhaps I’m being naive but the more that I hear and see of him, the more that I think that he is a joke.

Best to judge a person by his actions LB. He said he would build a war in between the USA and Mexico - he did! He said he will sort out all the illegal immigrants - i would place a bet he will. He said there will be hell if Hamas don't release those hostages - let's see. Don't get me wrong, my view is he's unhinged but he more will be worried by his threats than sleepy Joe who needs to sit in his garden.

Trump is lesser of a joke than Starmer and many say in the US - he gives hope by declaring he will tackle illegal immigration, restore law and order and put more money in the american's pockets. Of these three things alone - do you feel Starmer will achieve all three or one of them? I don't as seen already!

Can’t disagree with you regarding Starmer but I’m not convinced that Trump can achieve all that he says that he is going to achieve.

Honestly think he will massively gets to grips with illegals and that will help to restore law and order. 100% he will tackle that. Lower taxes - interesting what he does with tariffs to have a view on this! Don?t disagree with him on every NATO country pays their share or do one! Hungary and Slovakia are a disgrace and this is where NATO/Europe are encouraging Putin - weakness and not altogether!

I suspect you are right Leicester. What did Trump achieve first time around?

He is what some of the American want. He is dangerous. He will appease the likes of Putin. He won?t stand up to Putin. He will weaken Ukraine and give Putin what he wants. Unfortunately it will be to the detriment on the rest of the decent world.

Trump will look good but only to those that have the love in with him.

The love in then OB is the majority of the US country! Don?t know why others outside of the US are getting rattled by another leader from a different country. None of our business!

My views on Ukraine are similar to yours but it?s not Trump we should be concerned with but the embarrassment called NATO. Maybe NATO will go it alone if they are so bothered and Hungary and Slovakia will be at the forefront. What a joke!
