What a player by the way - very decent footballer can probably still do it at this level and he knows where the goal is.

Also a fantastic player at long passes and finding the balls through the lines.I remember washing him play for Newcastle against us and he dominated the midfield in that match-could have played for England at the time. A great signing in my opinion.Last and not least he has a bit of a Joey Barton in him apparently which would not go amiss in our current squad.
