Arnie- esque today. Calm in possession, controlled the game and made passes that no one else could.

Who would have thought playing someone with leadership quality?s, shouting his mouth off and an all round leader we?d have started a run.

Why couldn?t big Steve and plastic Paul see it earlier!!

On a side note, I asked my lad to pick out a player who he thought played poor today.......he couldn't name one and I totally agreed.

Or heard from the North Stand some idiot shouting to Philips as he picked up his gloves to take them to the other end as we had lost the toss for kick off.

We played this game today because we failed to get past two mediocre league 2 teams. Could have been in Manchester today.
Having said that I thought the performance was excellent until the last sloppy 10 minutes. The two strikers ran them ragged, we were dominant in the air and won lots of 'second balls'
New rules mean if a penalty is given, there's no sending -off.
On the subject of 'fans' abusive with our own players. Football is very democratic which means any numpty that couldn't get a place in their school 2nd eleven, can have an opinion on professional players.

I called several things today.....a pre match win but I called 2-0

I said Bramall for McDonald who by the way didn't look out of place today.

Also called MOTM in Powell, just how much yardage did he put in today? Phenomenal! Best ever game for us yet.

The pairing of Haks/Jules is beginning to show immensely now and long may it continue. A place on the bench for Raggett once he returns me thinks. As for Cam, more please just more, superb today, albeit for the odd stray passes very late on. Can Evans turn him around in time to stay?

A very very good team effort all round and, did anyone think we played up a gear today? Looked sharper, fitter AND more important, we wanted the ball more. Graet scoreline, theirs shouldn't have stood as their player clearly played the ball with his arm and, having seen the replay of the foul on Wilks their number 5 clown clearly takes his legs and doesn't touch the ball so should have got a straight red.

Double jeopardy rule means if a penalty is awarded the player committing the foul will not get a red card.

Didn`t go to the last 2 games,so first time I`ve seen our "New" formation,and it does seem to suit us,who`d have thought that Macca & Macca in midfield would be a good idea ?
But it works,and Humph is great as CDM,we are still very thin players wise,very surprised to see the other Macca going back on loan,maybe 2 in the squad is enough !
Great result that was completely justified,what the f*ck are the Bolton fans whinging for.....should have been watching us for most of the season,fair to say this little run has saved Evans` bacon,lets hope he keeps it going,never know we might start looking up soon.
