Do not think so, now I understand Alfie's quote about shooting anywhere from the field.

I?m still undecided about going up. Premiership means probably big increase in ST prices (Hospitality) especially and where we are, there are a few marginals thinking they?ll be priced out. Me too.

I defo don?t want a team that gets mauled every week like on our last visit there.

Will the 49ers invest hugely in the squad?

Not sure about stadium redevelopment either. It?s absolute garbage getting to a home match with delays on almost every occasion and that?s with 36k fans. What?s it gonna be like with 55k? The club and council say the infrastructure will be put in to cope but being a 71 year old cynic, I very much doubt that.

Stadium expansion will probably mean we lose our fab seats for 2 years only to find we can?t afford em when they are offered back.

The Championship is a great level, plenty of tight exciting matches, more matches, cheaper STs, any team can beat any team. Premiership has 6-8 teams of high quality and the rest are in a relegation battle.

Yet the competitive spirit in me wants us to win every game of course and win the league! So then I get what I want or do I?

    Ramble over for now ??..😊

Could not agree more, the championship is a great league and the 3rd most attended in Europe after the Premier and Bundesliga. I am not Fussed about being promoted, for instance this season Aston Villa were charging up to ?97 a seat for their home europe matches, nonsense. Because the Lions like many is a working mans club.

All good but I think from a different perspective with all the changes being looked at with funding, parachute payments, sustainability etc if we ever what to be in the PL and stay there long term the window of opportunity is closing and getting harder so might be a case of now of never.

Yes championship I enjoyed much more than the corrupt premier league players are more genuine, But crowd wise i look at USA and gridiron they get 100k just to school game WTF. I'm not awoke on USA Soccer anyone got any idea what the average crowds are i mean in league not when the country team play. They get some unreal number for college games but than again they have the population say to Australia.
