Thought Platt MoM. Got his head to everything. Looked solid as a rock as usual.
Funny they spoke of player of the season on radio red during commentary & said hard to split Bass & Platt at the minute, if it was now.

Think Austin is still bit of a unsung hero. He puts some shifts in.

Wasn't that Platt and Bedeau? Or Platt, Bedeau plus Bass maybe?

I've got Platt and Bedeau virtually neck and neck, both clear of Bass. Someone who should get more mention in Player of the Season chat has to be Didzy. 2nd in L2 for goals per 90mins only to Lowe by 0.01, who are both out of sight of everyone else.

I have zero factual evidence to back this up but JJ doesn?t strike me as a naturally fit player. He has that stocky physique where I think he needs to be playing regularly. His restricted minutes since his return have been very tentative, which I guess could be more psychological than physical.
Hopefully he?s back firing on all cylinders soon.

Totally agree. He looks a little on the heavy side and his general demeanour was very casual and slack. Maybe as mentioned the changes meant us being less attacking and reducing opportunities for him to get forward. Let?s hope it?s just a matter of time until he?s back to his best.

Pretty sure it was Bass & Platt.

JJ will certainly need to manage his minutes to get back to full fitness after that long time out.
Matt Palmer for example just about back to his best pre injury.
Bass , Platt and Bedeau have been stellar signings with Jacob Bedeau producing consistently high quality performances every game.
Too right, that we have some unsung performers who perform admirably including Sam Austin .

Bass Platt, Bedeau have been solid all seasonbut McDonald hasn' t put a foot wrong and deserves some credit for taking his chance. Didzy seems to have struck up a great partnership with Jatta and looks as fit as ever, I'd offer him another year. Jones looks to be feeling his way in,understandable, need him up to speed for the run in. Marks for everyone about right.

I’ve been proven wrong about Didzy this season. I thought we never made the most of his talent last season, and also wondered if age had caught up with him. However, SM has found a way to get the best out of both him and AJ as the season has progressed (it took a while before they were both in the starting XI together) - the fact they’ve both scored 12 is impressive.

Grant is a bit of an enigma. He looks positive and direct but not a lot has come off for him in a Notts shirt so far. Puts the work in off the ball. Our record when he plays is outstanding though, it may be a coincidence, but we seem to win a lot more often when he?s involved.

I?d class Grant as being a bit more industrious but with less flare than our other Attacking Mids.
His first game against Tranmere I thought we?d signed a gem but he then sort of faded.
I?ve been quite impressed since his return from injury.
At this moment I?d say he?s a good squad member but with room for improvement.
