He has obviously lost confidence. Often due to our slow build up, when he receives the ball he is faced with two defenders lined up so he cuts inside which makes sense but he has to have options. If there aren't any he holds the ball and runs into trouble. One on one he will be very
effective but that means he has to receive the ball quicker or run onto through balls which we don't play very often for some reason (too risky?).I blame the coaches, wingers with his speed are not ten a penny, we should have a match winner here.

Tend to agree with you on this post mnrht, when he is forced inside (which is often), no-one gives him an out ball.

Foster is as thick as mince and his positioning is rubbish. I watched the Lawman documentary yesterday on SKY, Denis Law was nicking goals from nowhere. None of our lot are not fit to lace his boots.

Somewhere there must be another Willie Irvine, but where?

The thing is Bt Koleosho may be just that but he?s a square peg in a round hole as ballcock puts it - he doesn?t fit the Parker remit - keep the ball at all costs even if it means going from inside the opposing teams 18 yard box back to our keeper.

Young men like him need to play and be coached helped re final ball and importantly imo anyway ( said many times ) to let the ball do the work and be played in the channels - over the top and let him run onto them destroying people with his pace.

The problem Luca has is not his talent it?s which team he plays in and the shape it plays- Parker has a system that has us sat third in the league and least goals conceded - my thing is it?s boring and we go backwards and sideways way too much and flair players like Luca who are forced to be doubled up sometimes trebled up get criticised for losing possession ( here?s a question if he has 3 men why are we not exploiting the two man over scenario we have ? ).

I?ll answer my own question because we?re already thinking about playing backwards and not forwards towards the white posts that are what football is ultimately all about .( goals ).

Foster needs a man to lay with / off - his movement is decent but his decision making needs work - he?s similar to Luca in that he?s trapped imo anyway he has pace he?s strong and can do it but he?s not utilised correctly - ( watch back the game against Sunderland on how many times he?s 1-1 v full back spinning to go
In behind it?s embarrassing as we simply don?t give him the ball )

The thing about the above scenario is after you?ve done it a few times and you know the ball is never coming / going in the channel you stop making/ offering the run and do exactly as he did do - dropped a bit deeper and played the ball backwards into our. Midfield or full back just to be involved in the game and touch the ball a few times.

This in turn makes you and others think he?s rubbish and a poor forward when in fact he?s starved of the actual service he wants / needs.

Just my observations of what?s happening and how I see it - could be wrong. 😑

Maybe he was never that good in the first place.I go with Sinky`s verdict-like a headless chicken.
