Was speaking to a friend thats worked at the club forever, said Jimmys days were the happiest spell there’s been around the club day to day.
Couldn’t speak highly enough of the atmosphere he, Clark & Nicholl created and how they interacted with everyone at the club and acknowledged abdy. Had time for everyone.

Says more about him than his allegiance to his own team.

A genuine character who is a miss to football in general, as well as to those closest to him. He will be remembered each and every time we encounter the words 'tombola' and 'bugles' - and fondly so I suspect.

He states he had a good life. Thanks for sharing it with us JC ... R.I.P.
    Lovely post NMN
I still occasionally shout bugles towards the end of games when we’re getting beat and I want subs on/players up the park

I was calling for bugles the other night at Ibrox.

    Did they ever work?

Sad news about Jimmy, I also recall the peaks and troughs of his time as our manager.
I?ll choose to remember his time with us for the good times though, a few good wins against oldco but undoubtedly the European nights were the pinnacle.
Going ahead twice against Bayern and the 4 goals in the second half against Copenhagen will live long in the memory.

Thanks for those memories Jimmy, RIP min.

Very sad news indeed about Jimmy. He was a good guy. Gave us many good trips and many good memories. Also some very low points too. As others have said dementia is a horrible disease. RIP Jimmy and thanks for your 5 years at AFC.

This is what the club continues to get wrong . Tribute should be on the club site for those of don’t/wont use ****ter.
    Same with announcing team lines.

I'd agree with that and the club site was the first place I went for it.

It's a nice wee tribute and covers the lows as well as highs during Jimmy's reign.

    His funeral was today
Milne was their on behalf of the club. Duncan Fraser, Russell Anderson and Lee Miller were also in attendance, along with the Young Brothers.

Theres a video doing the rounds of a family fall out during the service.

Keep your mouth shut and have a punch up at the wake like normal folk FFS
