This is great news and shows that the club are trusted by top premier league clubs to progress with the education and nurture their young talent. George Abbott has really flourished certainly in the past couple months as he's settled into the men's game and get's better and better. Very important bit of news.
Say he's played 24 games for us and you take them as 3 sets of 8. He was good in the first but still finding his feet in men's football, the next two sets show a steep upward trend. I'd take what we have now in a shot, but what if his level of play his still improving? That could well clinch promotion, if everyone else holds up their end (so to speak).
