This is great news and shows that the club are trusted by top premier league clubs to progress with the education and nurture their young talent. George Abbott has really flourished certainly in the past couple months as he's settled into the men's game and get's better and better. He will be an important and key player in the push for promotion.

George was always going to stay
Plays every week, given responsibility and learning all the time
It's been a perfect loan for both him and us
Scarlett is unlikely to get in the Spurs team if he couldn't get a game at Oxford

    Brillo pads!

Another excellent loan signing for us. Hopefully Spurs are happy with his progress as well.

Not long after the Bros took over I?m sure there was an interview with Jason Turner where he stated part of the recruitment process is to see them play 10 times.
On the basis I didn?t dream that, the old style of scouting is very much integrated with the new

It's a pleasure to see him play with a smile on his face. He is very much a part of this team and it shows.

    Very important bit of news.

Say he's played 24 games for us and you take them as 3 sets of 8. He was good in the first but still finding his feet in men's football, the next two sets show a steep upward trend. I'd take what we have now in a shot, but what if his level of play his still improving? That could well clinch promotion, if everyone else holds up their end (so to speak).
