Oh, must have missed that. Cheers.

Yeah, was a leg injury this time but he's had three long term injuries since signing

IMO the Hinchy and Abbott pairing has done well the last couple of games - I'd keep it rolling for one more

Why rush MP back with a damaged cheekbone/eye socket against the Gills thugs away from home. Give him another week and he can return at home to Morecambe, when there sure to be sitting in a low block, giving him lots of space to play

I didn't think Hinchy played any worse than others last night, but maybe Matt Palmer would have been one to push the tempo higher and lead by example. Hinchy on the ball isn't a bad player, but for a player in a notionally defensive role his recovery speed and effort worries me. If we lose the ball you need a player in his position to be bombing back and trying to disrupt the counter attack, but in his case I couldn't tell whether he was running in treacle or just couldn't be arsed.

    Don't think it's a case of 'can't be arsed'
A few of the lads who've stepped in recently haven't had a lot of game time so run out of steam late on
Training can't replicate the effort they put in during proper games
It always takes a few games to get fully up to speed and keep going for the full 90 minutes

Matt Palmer was missed as others have said and for me he goes under the radar somewhat because it's not always realised until he's not in the side. This is mainly because he is so consistent and has been since he's been at the club. Also because what he does on the pitch may not make headlines like when someone scores a goal or a great save is made, but what he does forms a part of how we play such as having lots of possession along with governing the game and starting the build up of chances. One of the few remaining undeniable heroes from the promotion winning season.

With the number of injuries this season its handy we train at the University of Nottingham with it's link to the Unversity Hospital. I wonder if that was pre planned

Park Hospital is some of our commercial partners, not sure the players are off to QMC
