Assume he wanted to fight for his place.

Wish him well but a keeper is only as good as the defence in front of him and let?s face it last seasons was abysmal so he never stood a chance.
I heard that he's off to Yeovil, which if he lives that way, would make sense.

He did have the misfortune to be thrown in at the deep end with a defence that wasn't up to the job. I wish him well, but it does leave us in a dire situation if Bass gets injured and we have to rely on Slocombe or the youth keeper. I think there might be something regarding emergency goalkeepers outside the transfer window, but I don't know the details.

Emergency loan only if we do not have a fit professional goal keeper

Probably the best call for both parties, I wish him well also, im sure there's a new challenge for him somewhere.

I'm sure Sam could get a sudden groin strain if the management team thought it prudent!

Slocombe behind our first team defence probably wouldn't be too bad of an issue to be fair. When he's played this season, he's been playing with effectively the youth team and players easing back from injury so has again been exposed

It is a difficult position when you have a keeper who is clearly first choice. Difficult to sign anyone of real class as they won’t want to sit on the bench.
