In my view IH is a character with some charisma. After a dodgy start at Swindon they are certainly improving and my respect for him increased with his honest and fulsome praise for Notts after the recent game.

Given what Holloway did at Grimsby I feared for them when he took over but he has done an outstanding job to claw them up to comparative safety by early Feb from looking like they would be in a dog fight. By comparison the ridiculous appointment of Mike Williams at Carlisle who tried to implement a whole new playing style while a team were in a relegation battle has turned out exactly as expected. American owners who clearly have no clue that to do that takes several years but expect results regardless. I do hope that they start to play hoof it now and climb to safety. He's brought in half of his old teams as well so be interesting to see how that turns out. Poor old Cedwyn must be wondering what hit him.
