For me this is not psychological, they're not stepping up to take a penalty at Hampden in the 90th minute in front of 50,000 people. No amount of psycho analysis stops a slip. The other pens that I have seen (Lyon and Macintosh) were just awful strikes. Practice is great, however a professional footballer placing a shot at goal to a specific point 12 yards away with a wee bit of power shouldn't be too difficult. It's their bloody job.

As for the away form, it's simply not good enough. Playing away makes very little difference at this level. They're playing on very similar pitches in front of one man and his dog. The intimidating Istanbul derby it is not.

Not winning an away league match after 12 attempts takes some doing! We have a large squad with competition for places so you would have thought that any capable manager would have been able to find the formation and team to actually win a game. Don?t forget the standard of teams in the league is poor so it is not much to ask.

Our league position is misleading as Arbroath, Cove & Kelty have 2 games in hand. ?The issue? of our dreadful away form is going to rule us out of winning the league and also place top 4 finish I great doubt.

Constant mistakes are absolutely killing us this season. No away wins from 12 is a ridiculous stat.

Clyde & Airdrie the other 2 clubs in Scotland with this record.

Just seen the goals from Saturday. Both were from dreadful mistakes. As for the penalty miss, that was comedy gold!

I fully endorse the points made on the topic of no away wins from 12 and its time to change the tune in whatever way we can, whether it be psychological or a good old fashioned kick up the backside. This squad have more than enough talent to walk into the top 4, if not win the league outright.
Yes, they?ve been unlucky but so was our squad last season and the penny has to drop on the side of must try harder.
We also need to pick 2 or 3 penalty takers, who practice every damn day to stop this nonsense from 12 yards.
The manager must instil ?belief? in his players away from home, because the negative mind set is damaging.
