No idea how much control Doc has over our signings, no idea if he thought we were good enough with what we had but the letting go of the much maligned Curtis Main seems increasingly bizzare without any intention of bringing in a replacement.

We look soft as **** all over the park with players looking increasingly disinterested and looking to blame each other.

I'm not one for calling for managers heads on a platter ( mcpake was an exception ) but the clubs continued status in the top flight must come before any loyalty to any manager.

I agree it means diddly squat to nelms what league we are in.....he will just charge more for the few that remain but if he has any feelings about relegation to make a decision quickly on Docherty and stick with it.

I hate it when players have the power to " down tools " on a manager but I got the feeling yesterday that some have.

We signed Donnelly in the window, but that was on top of the numerous centre halves that we already had. Let Main go and were left short of strikers. Never replaced McCowan. Loans and projects smells of 'on the cheap' to me, but I could well be wrong - I was thinking back to the islay post regarding Dad Keyes and stopping bankrolling us. And to field that diminutive midfield yesterday was asking for trouble. County walked through them. Our wobbly defence just got constantly attacked.
