Luke Williams gave a perfect explanation of how players should interpret booing from fans. They're not booing because they hate you or want you to fail. It stems from pure frustration because they know you can do better and they want you to do better. It might feel like they're attacking you, but they're trying to get a response and drive you on to improve.

The booing at half-time yesterday was entirely justified, even though it's not something I tend to do myself. The performance was nowhere near good enough, and we weren't much better in the second half, but if it proves to be a good learning experience while still somehow scraping a win too, then it could do us good in the long run.
