When we have been successful it has been from trying hard to beat as well as being dangerous going forwards

I think 3-4-3 beat for that as when we are penned back it is 5-4-1

We need to show that we want it more. That desire carries you a long way in matches.
If we are hoping for top 4 these are the matches we need to be winning.
If we go 343 I would be more surprised than Tony Docherty realising he's won a match.
I'm expecting 352, no selection surprises, probably a narrow front 2 again.
I'm wanting Middleton partnering Dalby in front of Ferry but think I'm going to be disappointed again.

I hope it?s not 5-3-2. I don?t think our best results have come with that formation. The only width comes from the wing backs

Whilst ferry and strain have been good it would be better to have likes of Luca and Middleton ahead of them to add more further forwards

Paton hasn?t done enough for me. If we did have 2 up top I?d prefer VDS or Moult if fit alongside - or as you say could we try Middleton in supporting

    Massive match tonight

    Come on United !!!!

Agree massive game, Paton I hope has adjusted now and will prove himself a striker, this league often surprises newbies with its intensity. Looking forward to game tonight and wanting to see United show some passion and skill from the start

So little creativity in that starting line up.

I have a bad feeling about tonight. It was Strain that created for Dalby's goal on Saturday, Paton has created nothing. Looks busy but I'm yet to be convinced, maybe tonight is the night. Not holding my breath with this narrow approach. If Miller suppresses Ferry we have very little.
    Prove me wrong United.

Aye that's a don't lose first attitude. I'd really like to see us go 4231 but find a balance between the solidity we've shown often whilst also attempting to really get at some teams. Attack is the best form of defence and the most entertaining, if you get the balance right.
C'mon United though, I'm back in Edinburgh tonight watching on the telly as it's a school night.

Nothing there that shows definitively that Dalby was off side or that he handled the ball, if anything it was the Hibee defender, VAR get tae feck!

Played well 2nd half but again leaving Middleton and Trap on the bench. From being in a great position 3rd in the league after derby JG decided to fk our season by not playing wingers, the creative players. Now 5th 4 goals in 9 games. Its not working.
