I'm with you Lancy and he should have played Hannibal as well. The cup is wide open this season and we'd have been at home to Villa, who are there for the taking. We could have made Wembley. Anyway, welcome back and glad to see you haven't taken your bat and ball home mate.. UTC...KTF..

Glad to see you posting Lancaster. I don?t think any of us enjoy it when we slump to defeat as we did at Deepdale but truthfully how many teams in the Premier League or the EFL habitually put out their strongest side in every competition? Clubs have to manage their squads and that does lead to judgement calls as to where their priorities lie. Clearly there is a divergence of views on this board about the team selected for the FA Cup tie at Preston. It would be boring if we all agreed wouldn?t it? I think promotion back to the Premier League is the priority. I will be more disappointed if we fail to achieve that than I am about missing out on a FA Cup quarter-final.

Lancaster I do take your point as I’ve posted not just for Saturday but previously where I said I never put my boots on not to win and neither should ( professionals ).

I do think though Parker is not reactive to what happens and whilst patience is a virtue I’m told in football if you don’t react and change things it’s quickly too late.

It’s an easy throw away comment from those on here that it wasn’t important ( the game ) as promotion is the aim , but if you read people posts leafing up to the game they wanted to win and thought that we should have - we got Spanked and the rest is history as we simply weren’t at the races.

For me there was more spunk in the refusal of the handshake than in the entire game of football from us

Hey let’s no be ignorant to the fact we need to
Get promoted for the money and to see the best footballers in the world at turf moor - but not at the expense of a lame don’t give a $hit attitude in a game , let’s not forget these lads are Proffesional and it’s a job not just a game.

Whilst there is no denying Parker has done well for us considering circumstances dropped on him - I still don’t feel he’s right for us and his reaction to change personnel shape and whatever is needed has - is costing us at the minute - if it’s fatal remains to be seen but if we don’t go up I reckon we’ll find out.

I think what irritates/disappoints many fans is that the two don't have to be mutually exclusive.

The age old adage reared its ugly head and the question “how bad do you want it?” was answered in the negative. It was such a gutless performance and the Nobenders just rolled over us and the travelling fans didn’t deserve that.
