I don't why you would want Lampard over Parker. Parker has a far better record in management with 2 championsip promotions.

Parker is doing an excellent job and the January signing of Edwards was a master stroke. If we don't go up he carries on for me as I can't think of anyone who could have and will do a better job

I gave my reasons for preferring Lampard several times last summer, I'm not going into it again. Parker does not have a better record in management than Lampard, their records are remarkably similar overall but Lampard's is slightly better. Parker has also not done anything in management to compare with Lampard's first successful spell at Chelsea, 84 games at the top end of the PL.

    Lampard 217 games, Win % 42.86
    Parker 212 games, Win % 41.98

Different opinions are what makes this board tick. If I say black it’s guaranteed Sinkov will say it’s white. Living in the here and now without the interminable “what if’s” Parker is doing a great job in my opinion and Lampard has certainly justified his appointment at the Sky Blues. Should be one hell of a game when we meet them. Me and the grandkids and my son are going to the game. With Leeds losing at Portsmouth this division is now wide open. UTC#

That is only because mon ami, when you say something is black, it so often turns out to be white.

Using Chelsea as a stick to beat Parker with is unfair as the likes of me and you could have got a tune out of any Chelsea side under Abronavich

What strikes me about Lampard and Coventry is that they are scoring a lot of goals but also conceding. Lampard always struggled keeping clean sheets at Everton and now Coventry, that for me says, that he will never be able to cut it at the top, unlike Cardy who knows how to keep it tight and is a master of clean sheets
